The only time i've used a shear is to cut aluminum or paper and on thin aluminum sheet there is typically a slight curl that's maybe 1/32 to 1/16" distorted. Anyways I want a bunch of 16x32" plates cut up and they said they would shear them for 60 cents a piece of I got 90 of them.

I can use hand shears but that is tough on my hands. I need to make two cuts and then grind to the edge. Even then the hand shears distort the steel.
